Generally most of my projects in the last five years have been full kitchen remodels. Some have been single-story additions with expanded kitchen and added baths/laundry rooms or two-story full additions, which I no longer bid on. Most of these projects were first demolished down to the framing to expose the walls and to start anew. I try to eliminate secondary workmanship from past remodels and build off the original house.
Project start dates are determined by the order received and following full completion of the previous project. Some projects have taken one to two years from initial contact to actual project start. I prefer to finish a project before I take on another; however, I will sometimes move forward with the next one, depending on the circumstances. This is done only in careful consultation with the homeowner.
